MARINA CONGRESS CENTER 29.01-31.01.2000 Welcome to Helsinki Hair Open 2000 Hair & Beauty Finland has the great honour and privilege to be the arranger of the first OAI competition event of the new Millennium with Helsinki Hair Open 2000 and Northern Light Trophy 2000 competitions in 29.-31.1.2000 in Helsinki Marina Congress Center. We have extended the event to last for three action packed days in order to be able to gather in all the different competitions. We have also taken in the friendly international demands for altering the timetables so that all the willing competitors would have a more convenient chance to take part in the event. In Hair Open 2000 the international competitions will be held on Sunday 30.1.2000 so that there would be no more unnecessary loss of valuable working days. The junior competitions will be held on Monday 31.1.2000. Helsinki Hair Open have the largest Hair Exhibition in Finland with numerous national and international Hair Shows. The competition schedule consists of Northern Lights Trophy, Junior Competition, Fantasy Competition, Show Team Competition and many Competitions, which will take their themes from everyday saloon fashions. We hope that you - our friends - have the opportunity take part in Helsinki Hair Open Event. And doing so to celebrate the start of the new Millennium together with us and all our friends from all over the world We hope to arrange a grand opening to the Millennium that we all hope will be prosperous for us and for the future generations. In the Northern Light Trophy the five best in ladies´ and gents´ hairdressing will be awarded as follows: |

In all the other competitions the three best will be awarded a diploma and Trophy.
When booking accommodation we recommend that you choose Hotel Grand Marina which is situated at the opposite of the competition arena, Marina Congress Center. Hotel Grand Marina is a First Class Hotel with 462 rooms, five restaurants and all the facilities and services attributed to a Fist Class Hotel. PS. We will want kindly inform especially our new competitors, who are not so familiar with the overall conditions here in the Northern Europe, that in Helsinki we do not have ice bears walking on the streets waiting to greet you with their friendly hugs and that the typical temperature in January is not -30 degrees centigrade (or at least not every day). However we will, if desired, do our utmost to find you a hole in the frozen sea ice to dip your toes through if you want to make swim of your lifetime or at least start things a bit differently in the new Millennium.
